Well, this has been a gloomy 4th of July. It's been raining on and off through most of the day. I'm not sure there's going to be fireworks tonight. I think the ones I see usually start in about three hours. It hasn't cleared up though. And really we don't need the rain.

I'm home and exhausted. It was a nice night. I went to friends' house for dinner and fireworks. Boy are people getting some serious fireworks these days. We were waiting for the city's fireworks and there were a bunch going off around us almost as good as the city's. We had some, but nothing that big.

Then it took forever to get home. Traffic in the evening on the 4th of July is hellish. We were stuck at an intersection and a police officer had to direct traffic.

Anway, thanks to my flist for indulging me in my earier insanity. :D You guys rock.
