A Side Order of Life is a new show that I've been enjoying. It's quirky and funny and moving. Jenny is a photo journalist for a magazine. It's about her and her circle of friends.

At the beginning of the series she's engaged, but eventually breaks it off. But because she and her ex are in the same circle of friends it makes things difficult. Her best friend Vivy is diagnosed with cancer. Another friend is her boss Rick who is in love with Vivy, but is afraid to commit so won't tell Vivy.

One day Jenny is calling her then fiancee on her cell and ends up calling a wrong number. For most of the rest of the season Jenny talks to this guy who was the wrong number on her cell. They don't share their names and the audience only hears this guy's voice until finally the season finale when cellphone man is revealed. And I had guessed who the actor was weeks ago. Steven Weber.

I don't know when it's coming back. I really like this show and it was a short season. I don't know exactly how many episodes there were though.
