Call me crazy, but I want winter back. My cat Toby was standing at the open front window and their was a mother of a bug crawling up and down the window. I thought it was outside of the screen, but it turned out to be inside. I shoved Toby off his cat stand and shut the window trapping the bug between the window and screen.
It was a Yellow Jacket. Yikes. I hate those things. I think I can handle bees coming in. Heck, I can probably handle wasps, but yellow jackets freak me out.
Last night there was a bug on my ceiling. I don't know what it was, but it had several tiny legs and it was long. Shivers.
I'm not ready for summer.

Date: 2007-04-30 09:18 pm (UTC)I remember as a kid I was sitting in a lawn chair in the back yard and several feet from me were yellow jackets. I was screaming for someone even though I was really quite safe.
The yellow jacket is still stuck between the glass and screen. Toby's been entertained by it. At least he's safe from it now. It's the first time I've ever seen one up close.
