:D I was just reading it and there was one thing I noticed you commented. I really hate when people respond with we don't know how much time has past. Like you I don't think that's exactly the point. We're talking about the next person to lead after Elizabeth. This isn't after a few years of having a handful of leaders after Elizabeth. This is maybe a few weeks at most probably and feelings are still going to be raw. Hell they're still going to raw from losing Carson.
Plus for me this more about the viewers' feelings. We kinda live vicariously through the emotions of the characters. If the characters have moved on before us it just doesn't work imo. It's not like we need to see them having crying jags are anything like that. Rodney a little toned down or maybe a bit chagrinned over his glee would have worked.
