I agree with you - that scene certainly wasn't in the US version. I was like....whaaaa? *confused* In the last scene in the US version she had just sent him tickets to come to Australia for a visit.

I'm still processing the whole thing - wow. I'm not even sure what to say yet. I feel like I've just seen half of the story. :)
